The 23-year-old is charged with burglary and theft.

A former Woodstone Golf employee was caught on surveillance video stealing nearly $1,000 worth of equipment from the Northampton County club, police said.

Kyle Lee Aicher, 23, of the 900 block of South Dogwood Road in Lehigh Township, between 9 p.m. June 9 and 5 a.m. June 10 allegedly entered the Woodstone Golf Course, 3777 North Dogwood Road in the township.

Club director Jason Barndt told township police Aicher was a former employee who forced entry into the locked maintenance building. Once inside, Aicher stole about $925 worth of items, including a flag, grass seed bag, power drill, keys to a company-owned truck, a blanket and two pieces for a drainage pipe, police said.

Aicher then allegedly drove the company-owned Chevrolet truck to the clubhouse and lodge. He is seen on video returning the truck at about 5 a.m. June 10, according to police.

A cleaning employee saw Aicher at the lodge and confronted him, police said. Aicher allegedly told the woman he was working again at the club. The employee did not believe Aicher's story and called another Woodstone employee, according to police.

Aicher is charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of criminal trespass, and one count each of theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He was arraigned Thursday before District Judge John Capobianco, who set bail at 10 percent of $25,000. In lieu of bail, Aicher was sent to Northampton County Prison.
