The move was approved last week.
The District 11 football championship games this fall will be played at neutral sites.
The D-11 Committee approved that for all classifications last week.
The district is working on securing a pool of independent sites willing to host the finals. The locations will not be predetermined and will depend on the two teams playing for the championship.
All quarterfinal and semifinal games will still be contested at the home fields of the higher seeds.
There will be six championship games this fall as the PIAA Board of Directors voted to expand football from four to six classes last October.
