A Bushkill Township man stole two televisions, Xbox games and controllers from Target in Lower Nazareth Township, police said.
Eric F. Maheux, of the 700 block of Saw Creek Estates, is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.
Colonial Regional police responded to a theft call around 12:30 p.m. Monday, they said.
A Target security officer reported to police that he saw the man select two televisions, six Xbox games and an Xbox controller.
Maheux allegedly tried to use a register, said he did not have his wallet and went to his car and returned with the wallet, according to court documents.
An employee took him to another register, where Maheux's credit card was declined, police said, and he went outside for another form of payment.
According to court records, Maheux returned again and waited a few minutes before pushing his cart past registers and toward the store exit.
The security officer stopped Maheux before he exited, police said.
