The teen told the victim he had a handgun, was not scared and would shoot him and his friends, police said.
A Palmer Township teen told a group of Nazareth Diner patrons he had a handgun and threatened to shoot them during a dispute, borough police said.
Jaylen Manna, 18, of the first block of Freedom Terrace, is being charged with the crime.
Police at 12:49 p.m. Sunday were dispatched to the home of the male victim in the 200 block of Greenwood Avenue. The victim told police he was attending a Bethlehem car show when Manna and his friends approached the victim and his friends and began threatening to "slit" the victim's throat.
Manna then followed the victim and his friends to the Nazareth Diner, 550 S. Broad St., got out of his car and walked toward the victim's car in the parking lot, police said. Manna put his hand in his waist band, said he had a handgun, and told the victim to get out of the vehicle, according to police.
"I have a gun. I always have a .45-caliber with me," Manna allegedly said. "I will shoot you and everyone you are with. I am not scared."
Six witnesses provided written statements to police about the incident outside the diner. Borough police obtained an arrest warrant Sunday and arrested Manna on Tuesday, Nazareth Police Chief Thomas Trachta said.
Trachta said police did not recover a firearm.
Manna is charged with disorderly conduct, harassment (two counts) and making terroristic threats. He was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge John Capobianco, who set bail at $7,500.
In lieu of bail, Manna was sent to Northampton County Prison, in which online records showed he remained on Wednesday.
